Technical Operations/Support

The Technical Operations team focuses on the maintenance and upgrades of our aircraft. This includes aircraft maintenance specialists, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams, and more.

Role Overview and Responsibilities:

The Associate Analyst will work to enable better decision-making across the GX-FX team. The role involves working with large volumes of data from various systems (such as FleetFocus, telemetry devices, Coupa, PlanPlus, Oracle ERP, etc.) to support decision-making. The primary responsibility will be to work on analytical projects for different stakeholders across the organization.

Extract data from multiple sources to support the creation of operational dashboards and reports.
Curate tables and views to serve as the "single source of truth" for United's Tech Operations data.
Automate existing manual reports and processes to improve operational throughput.
Perform ad-hoc data mining and analysis as required.

This position is subject to local terms and conditions. Relocation and sponsorship for work visas, even for those with temporary visa status, will not be provided. This role is with United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in Engineering, Business Analysis, Finance, Supply Chain.
0-2 years of related experience.
Strong understanding of data structures, relationships, and efficient transformations.
Knowledge of all aspects of the data ecosystem: procurement, engineering, storage, management, analysis, visualization, and deployment.
Experience with data visualization best practices.
Legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship.
Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Successful completion of an interview is required to meet job qualifications.
Strong, dependable attendance is a fundamental requirement of the position.
