Job Description

As an Associate Analyst I, you will play a key role in detecting and preventing financial crime. You will assist banks and non-bank institutions by conducting in-depth monitoring, reviewing client files, and identifying unusual financial activities.

Your work will involve:
✔ Conducting KYC procedures
✔ Monitoring moderate-to-complex account activity
✔ Ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational policies
✔ Researching and analyzing data sources
✔ Writing summaries, recommendations, and conclusions

The role requires discretion, independent judgment, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities

???? Transaction & Risk Monitoring

Assess and evaluate suspicious financial activities.
Monitor transactions for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions violations.
Identify red flags and data anomalies and escalate as needed.

???? Know Your Customer (KYC) Procedures

Verify customer identities to understand their relationship with financial institutions.
Review and interpret client-operating policies on financial data.

???? Compliance & Reporting

Ensure adherence to federal and state AML regulations, company policies, and client requirements.
Submit written reports for AMLRS quality control review and incorporate feedback.
Maintain accuracy and complete assignments within deadlines.

???? Team Collaboration & Process Improvement

Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Identify opportunities for improvement and influence change.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience:

✔ Associate's Degree required
✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Technical Skills:

✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
✔ Ability to quickly learn new technologies

Soft Skills:

✔ Strong oral & written communication skills
✔ Ability to multitask, work independently, and build cooperative relationships

Preferred Qualifications:
