Role Title: Business ARC Analyst


Purpose of the Role

The Business ARC Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely recording, collection, and processing of end-to-end processes in general accounting, reporting, fixed assets, accounts receivable, credit, accounts payable, costing, performance reporting, statutory accounting, and direct tax. This role ensures adherence to established policies, drives exceptional customer service, and promotes operational excellence and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and timely execution of all general accounting and reporting processes including journal postings, GL maintenance, reconciliations, system entries, tax submissions, and report preparation in line with SLAs.

  • Support timely and accurate monthly group reporting.

  • Manage and support the audit process to ensure minimal issues and smooth execution.

  • Ensure compliance of financials with Group Accounting Policies and Indian Accounting Standards, as applicable.

  • Handle monthly/quarterly close activities for CIL and BPISPL within defined timelines.

  • Conduct analytical reviews to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data.

  • Maintain internal controls and ensure full compliance for all reporting activities.

  • Coordinate system reconciliations and investigate/correct discrepancies.

  • Provide financial advice and support to FBT teams and customers when needed.

  • Track, resolve, and escalate outstanding accounting/reporting issues.

  • Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Deliver 100% accuracy and timeliness in group and statutory reporting.

  • Lead initiatives to transform and optimize processes for efficiency.

  • Promote Agile principles and champion digital-first, automation-led approaches.

  • Collaborate effectively across time zones, languages, and systems.

  • Support business partners, internal stakeholders, and auditors effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

  • Recognised professional qualification (CA, ICWA)

Experience:

  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in general and/or financial accounting

  • Shared service centre experience (preferred)

  • Experience with JDE/SAP systems (preferred)
