Job Role – IT Support Analyst

As an IT Support Analyst, you will provide first-level technical support for PCs, Linux, UNIX, networking, enterprise applications, and printers while ensuring superior customer service. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve customer issues efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work in rotational shifts to provide IT support.
  • Deliver first-level technical support for PCs, Linux, UNIX, networking, enterprise applications, and printers.
  • Act as a central point of contact for peripherals, office systems, email clients, broadband access, remote access methods, and security software.
  • Answer customer calls & emails, ensuring a superior service experience.
  • Create, resolve, and close IT incident tickets.
  • Utilize problem management & knowledge management software to log and track customer issues.
  • Diagnose networking and email client issues.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for customer issues.
  • Provide basic networking support and troubleshooting.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:

  • 1+ year in IT, Engineering Support, or a related field.
  • 1+ year in operating system/software troubleshooting (e.g., root cause analysis, debugging).
    ✔ Strong knowledge of Windows 10 OS, MS Office tools, Mail Clients (Outlook), Printers, and Basic Networking.
    ✔ Experience with Windows OS, UNIX, or Linux operating systems.
    Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
    Ability to clearly communicate technical solutions via email and phone.
    Customer service and troubleshooting skills.
    Availability to work 24x7 in a rotational shift model.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
2+ years of experience in help-desk support, preferably in a Service Desk environment.
Industry certifications in IT support or technical training.
Experience in Contact Centers (a plus).


Physical Requirements

  • Transporting between offices (up to 2 miles).
  • Lifting and installing equipment up to 40 lbs.
