Job Description

Starberry, a leading digital media agency based in London, UK, is seeking an SEO Specialist to join our offshore digital marketing team in India. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and be passionate about improving website rankings for clients.

Key Responsibilities

✔ SEO Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement SEO campaigns for various clients.
Plan, execute, monitor, and report on SEO performance.
Ensure SEO campaigns are effective and within budget.
Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
Utilize SEO tools & technology to enhance campaign effectiveness.

✔ Technical & On-Page SEO

Optimize website structure, content, and HTML markup.
Conduct keyword research & web analytics for ranking improvements.
Diagnose and resolve SEO performance issues for clients' websites.

✔ Local SEO & Off-Page Optimization

Manage and optimize local business listings on platforms like Google My Business, Yelp, and other local directories.
Build and manage local citations to improve online presence.
Ensure all citations and business information are accurate and consistent across online platforms.

✔ Content & Link Building

Engage in SEO blogging & content distribution strategies.
Analyze competitor trends & backlink strategies.
Implement advertising optimization techniques for improved reach.

✔ Collaboration & Reporting

Work closely with the UK team and provide regular updates.
Generate SEO performance reports with actionable insights.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in an SEO role (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of on-page & off-page optimization.
Experience with keyword research, web analytics, and ranking factors.
Understanding of HTML markup for SEO improvements.
Self-motivated, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills (written & spoken English is mandatory).
Ability to work with an international team and manage deadlines efficiently.
