Role Overview:

We are seeking a talented Database Engineer to support and optimize our cloud-native and large-scale database infrastructure. The ideal candidate should be experienced in cloud environments, possess in-depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL technologies, and be comfortable working in international, fast-paced teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL Server
Administer NoSQL databases including MongoDB, Cassandra, and DynamoDB
Utilize cloud-native database services like Amazon RDS, Azure SQL Database, and Google Cloud SQL
Perform database performance tuning, optimization, clustering, and high availability configurations
Develop and execute scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Implement and manage cloud networking, storage, and compute services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Ensure data security through cloud security best practices and encryption techniques
Collaborate with cross-functional international teams, adjusting to time zones and delivery timelines

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in large-scale database environments
Strong hands-on expertise with cloud database platforms
Exposure to U.S. business standards and enterprise-level infrastructure best practices
Excellent understanding of database replication, backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery
Ability to analyze and solve problems in complex, distributed systems
