We are looking for an experienced Development Manager to join our dynamic team. This role plays a key part in maintaining the highest quality of our software deployments while encouraging a culture of continuous improvement. What You'll Do

Enable the release of value by ensuring frequent software deployments of high quality
Implement Agile development and software engineering guidelines
Define, own, and communicate the capture of delivery benchmarks
Drive continuous improvement within your teams and department
Plan, track, and communicate delivery achievements
Own and adjust staffing strategy to deliver business needs
Lead recruitment activity
Promote collaboration with other business areas and teams, such as UX, Build, Product, Tech, Data, Network Operations, and Production Engineering
Cultivate a learning environment
Facilitate career progression
Undertake and ensure regular line management activities for direct and indirect reports
Support the flow of communications to and from the team
Actively promote an inclusive working environment
Track and validate costs
Support and align with Target Architecture

What We're Looking For

Proficient knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology and Agile software engineering practices and tools
Theoretical knowledge or practical experience with Agile at scale
Experience working within DevOps organizations implementing practices such as continuous delivery, monitoring, and testing through automation
Strong knowledge of XP working methodologies like Development with Testing, Continuous Integration, and teamwork in programming
Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Application of planning and estimation techniques, including capacity and scenario planning
Tracking benchmarks, product metrics, and success indicators
Conducting engaging meetings and presenting ideas/findings
Bridging different engineering teams as needed
Technical background with hands-on experience
Understanding system needs in gaming platforms/digital products
Proficiency with agile/efficiency tools such as Jira and Confluence
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Adaptability to evolving business needs
Influencing teams without direct line management

Desirable Skills & Experience

Proven experience of 14+ years, including 5+ years in a managerial role
Proficiency in solving dynamic problems with creative solutions
Excellent spoken and written English
Experience with high-volume products and managing offshore/onshore teams
Experience in the gaming domain and Agile environment
Proficiency with tools like Lucid or Monday.com is desirable
