Full job description

Role Objective

To prepare competitive and technically compliant proposals for environmental engineering projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, company standards, and profitability goals. The Proposal Engineer will act as a bridge between the sales, design, and execution teams to deliver high-quality technical and commercial offers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Study and analyze client tenders, RFQs, and inquiries related to environmental engineering projects (ETP, STP, WTP, Air Pollution Control, etc.).
  • Review tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings to understand project scope.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and execution teams to gather necessary inputs for proposals.
  • Prepare cost estimation, BOQ, and techno-commercial offers with accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Identify technical deviations, risk factors, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure proposals are submitted on time with complete documentation as per tender requirements.
  • Support sales & business development team in technical discussions and client presentations.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, competitors’ pricing, and technologies.
  • Develop and maintain a database of vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors for competitive sourcing.
  • Assist in contract negotiation and handover of awarded projects to execution teams.
