About the Role

At MSCI, we leverage next-generation technologies to help our clients enhance their portfolios and drive innovation. We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Marketing Data Engineering Development Team in Pune/Mumbai. You will collaborate with our Data Team to build efficient and scalable pipelines from various sources, including Google Analytics, Twitter, Highspot, Salesforce, and other social media platforms.

The Data Engineering team supports the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDWH) Lakehouse, which provides data for Power BI and other reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop new data pipelines for ingesting marketing data.
Monitor and support load plans for various data sources.
Collaborate with the reporting team to design data models and reports.
Adapt quickly to new technologies and ensure effective communication within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in building data pipelines, primarily using Azure Data Factory & Databricks.
Experience in full-stack development of Web Services/Applications, Cloud, and Microservices.
Hands-on experience with cloud technologies (Azure/Google preferred).
Python scripting knowledge (a plus).
Experience with Spark or Azure Databricks frameworks.
Strong understanding of ETL, batch integration, and cloud-based processes.
Expertise in cloud-based microservices and DevOps practices.
Experience with SQL Server or NoSQL databases.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of AI & LLM for solving business challenges.
Experience with source control systems (Git preferred).
Familiarity with security protocols and networking fundamentals.
