Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced AI and Data Cloud Solutions Engineer to collaborate with pioneering customers and develop transformative customer engagement roadmaps. This role involves demonstrating the Salesforce platform, applications, and LLM/GPT domains in India.

The ideal candidate should have experience engaging with C-level business and technology leaders and a proven track record of driving business outcomes through technology solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary pre-sales technical authority for all Salesforce AI solutions, including generative AI and Einstein ML-based capabilities.
  • Spend 60% or more of the time interacting with customers and external stakeholders.
  • Promote Salesforce AI features, aligning them with customer needs and use cases.
  • Collaborate with architects and Solution Engineer (SE) teams on solution proposals.
  • Develop reference models, concepts, and approaches for integrating GPT-based products into Salesforce solution architectures.
  • Work closely with security and privacy teams to ensure solution trustworthiness.
  • Represent Salesforce at customer events, strategic conferences, and global summits such as World Tour and Dreamforce.
  • Educate and empower sales and SE teams with product roadmaps and AI insights.
  • Provide thought leadership on digital transformation and AI adoption in enterprises.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to uncover business challenges.
  • Deliver solution presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes to showcase AI capabilities.
  • Design clear implementation roadmaps to help partners transition from current state to future state.
  • Respond to RFPs and RFIs with technical and functional solutions.
  • Manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • 4+ years of direct experience with AI products and solutions in the commercial tech sector.
  • Strong knowledge of data science, data lakes, data warehouses, ETL, ELT, and data quality.
  • Experience applying AI, ML, LLM, and GPT models to solve business challenges.
  • 10+ years working in sales, pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles in the software industry.
  • Strong pre-sales or implementation experience, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Experience demonstrating customer engagement solutions and developing use cases, customer journeys, and process maps across different business lines.
  • Expertise in business case development, ROI analysis, and strategic consulting.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and present them to large audiences.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud-based CRM, Sales, Service, and Marketing solutions.
  • Strong communication skills in needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing strategies.
  • A continuous learning mindset, with a track record of self-enablement and career growth.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with ML, deep learning, NLP, and AI technologies.
  • Familiarity with OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, Amazon SageMaker, Snowflake, and Databricks.
