The Global Supplier Technology team builds scalable platforms for Wayfair’s supplier ecosystem. From catalog creation and pricing to advertising, insights, and order management, we empower suppliers to grow their businesses. Our mission is to ensure ease, accuracy, and speed in managing product catalogs and improving customer experience across Wayfair's digital platforms.
You will be joining a cross-functional team of talented engineers, creatives, product managers, data scientists, and analysts to build and scale world-class software solutions.
Define and lead a multi-year technology strategy for a complex platform
Manage multiple software development teams across all phases of the SDLC – from design to deployment and maintenance
Mentor, coach, and grow a team of engineers and engineering managers
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture
Architect scalable solutions that drive business growth and platform stability
Set and uphold technical excellence, best practices, and operational standards
Drive innovation and challenge the status quo through continuous improvement
Partner with cross-functional teams to influence organizational decisions and strategy
Represent engineering in strategic discussions and ensure alignment with broader company goals
12+ years of experience in engineering, with 5-6+ years in leadership roles
Proven track record leading high-growth platform engineering initiatives
Experience making complex architectural decisions with tradeoff awareness
Demonstrated people leadership—hiring, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams
Strong product-thinking and user-first approach to platform development
Hands-on experience building generalizable, high-scale platforms with excellent UX
Ability to influence without authority and communicate across departments and levels
A mindset focused on results, collaboration, pragmatism, and ongoing learning
Analytical skills that balance technical depth with business objectives
