Role Overview: Software Developer

As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining key media applications within the Local Systems Team. You will be responsible for:

Developing new features and improving existing media systems
Collaborating with business teams to gather requirements
Translating complex technical requirements into effective solutions
Leading biweekly planning sessions and assigning tasks to team members

Key Responsibilities

Development & Implementation

Develop and maintain business solutions for media applications using C# and Angular
Work collaboratively with the team through requirement analysis, implementation, and delivery phases
Document best practices and develop support guides
Ensure high-quality platform enhancements through structured project execution
Gain a deep understanding of user needs, usability, and functional issues
Become an expert in the platform's capabilities and functionalities

Testing & Evaluation

Actively participate in testing and evaluation of new releases
Provide ongoing support for platform releases

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

3+ years of full-stack application development experience
Backend:
- Strong experience in C# and .NET frameworks
- Building microservices with message queues (Azure Message Bus, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Frontend:
- Proficiency in Angular, NgRx, and RxJs
- Experience with microfrontend architecture
Containerization:
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Cloud Services:
- Experience with Azure cloud technologies, including App Services, Functions, Service Bus, and Application Insights
Database:
- Strong understanding of MS SQL, including database design, management, and optimization
DevOps & CI/CD:
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit, Jasmine, Karma)
- Proficiency in automated testing, Git version control, and CI/CD pipelines
Agile Methodologies:
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment

Soft Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
A team player who can work independently when needed
