Job Responsibilities

Architecture & Solution Design

✔ Lead and define strategic technology blueprints, ensuring solutions align with business goals
✔ Design scalable, secure, and maintainable AI-powered application solutions
✔ Oversee the selection of technologies & platforms based on performance, scalability, and security

Collaboration & Development

✔ Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and digital teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
✔ Guide development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices & architectural designs
✔ Ensure seamless integration of new applications with existing systems, maintaining data consistency

Optimization & Compliance

✔ Optimize system performance & user experience through analysis and improvement recommendations
✔ Ensure compliance with industry regulations & security standards
✔ Implement AI governance models, keeping solutions aligned with the EU AI Act & responsible AI principles

Continuous Innovation & Documentation

✔ Stay updated on emerging technologies & industry trends
✔ Create detailed documentation, including design specifications, integration patterns, and deployment guidelines
✔ Identify opportunities for process automation & efficiency enhancements

Required Qualifications

???? Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field

???? Experience & Technical Skills:

5-10 years of experience in developing, integrating, and architecting AI solutions
Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI (GenAI)
Proficiency in multiple programming languages:
- Java, C#/C++, Python
Experience with microservices architectures, data lakes, and cloud platforms:
- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
Knowledge of agile architecture principles, API design, DevOps methodologies
Experience with cloud-agnostic AIOps platforms & architectures:
- Databricks, Snowflake, Valohai, MLFlow
Analytical ability to assess complex business processes & datasets
Familiarity with Software Lifecycle Management, Testing, and Validation procedures
Excellent communication & leadership skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

???? Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge:

Understanding of responsible AI principles & governance
Knowledge of the EU AI Act & its implications for solution evaluation

???? Certifications (Preferred, but not required):

TOGAF (Enterprise Architecture)
Agile Delivery Methodologies (e.g., SAFe)

Preferred Qualifications

✅ Experience in Data Mesh strategy implementation
✅ Direct implementation & consulting experience in Life Sciences technologies
✅ Agile Champion:

Adherence to DevOps principles
Proven track record with CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery
