Key Responsibilities:

Apply professional knowledge and experienced judgment in independently designing complex projects.
Develop comprehensive plumbing system designs, including:
- Hydraulic Systems: Water balancing calculations, pump head calculations, water tank sizing, septic tank sizing, and sump pit sizing.
- Pipe Sizing: Soil, waste, and vent pipes, stormwater systems, and water storage capacity.
- Pump Selection: Booster pumps, submersible pumps, and hot/cold water systems.
Ensure compliance with international plumbing codes (IPC) and familiarity with American practice codes (preferred).
Design fire protection systems, including:
- Fire Safety Components: Sprinkler piping, standpipe systems, fire tank sizing, FM 200, and foam calculations.
- Code Compliance: In-depth knowledge of NFPA codes and standard practices.
Prepare and evaluate proposals (RFPs).
Plan, design, and coordinate technical and management requirements for projects.
Maintain effective communication and coordination in multidisciplinary projects.
Act as a mentor by training and developing mechanical engineering staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university with at least 5+ years of experience in MEP design and complex building services (BIM projects) such as high-rise buildings, commercial and residential structures, and infrastructure.
A Master's degree is preferred.
Proven ability to manage project teams effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with international clients and contractors.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit-MEP, and Navisworks is an added advantage.
