About the Team

You will join Nutanix's dynamic UX Design Team, a diverse group of skilled professionals across India, the US, and Germany. Innovation, creative thinking, and collaboration are the pillars of our team culture. We constantly push boundaries to explore new designs and enhance user experiences.

This multicultural environment fosters diverse perspectives, enabling us to create groundbreaking solutions for our global user base. You will report to the Director of Design, a dedicated leader focused on nurturing talent and empowering team members to excel.

We work in a hybrid model, with team members required to be in the office 2-3 days per week. This arrangement offers the flexibility to work remotely while fostering team collaboration and bonding.

Your Role

Address medium-to-high complexity enterprise problems by creating simple and elegant user experiences.
Present concepts effectively to key stakeholders, articulating the reasoning behind design decisions.
Build consensus and alignment among design, engineering, product management, and other stakeholders.
Plan and execute user research studies as part of design exercises.
Translate research insights into actionable design solutions.
Manage multiple design-related tasks simultaneously and execute them effectively.
Demonstrate knowledge of design processes and a strong understanding of engineering development workflows.
Over time, develop expertise in at least one product domain and establish a strong reputation within the organization.
Deliver advanced UX concepts, flows, and wireframes.

What You Will Bring

Minimum Requirements

3+ years of user design experience for web applications.
Bachelor's degree in design, graphic design, fine arts, computer science, or a related field.
Passion for design, data visualization, storytelling, and simplifying complex problems.
Proficiency in the latest wireframing, design, and prototyping tools.
Familiarity with user research methods, usability testing (in-person and remote), contextual inquiries, interviews, and design thinking practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely to build consensus.

Preferred Qualifications

Interest or experience in designing for enterprise software.
Knowledge or experience in designing data visualizations.
Working knowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices.
