Netflix is seeking a strategic and visionary Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Human Resources and Diversity Officer (CHRO) to lead the development and execution of our HR strategy across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a diverse and inclusive culture, enhancing employee engagement, and driving talent development initiatives aligned with business objectives. This role requires a strong leader who can collaborate with executive leadership to ensure human resources are effectively utilized to support the company’s strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Leadership: Lead the HR function at Netflix, developing and implementing strategies for talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, retention, and performance management.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Oversee the organization’s DEI strategy to cultivate a culture that values diversity and promotes inclusive practices at all levels.
  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with the executive leadership team to align HR initiatives with business strategies and organizational goals.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to professional development and offboarding.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change management initiatives to support business transformations and growth.
  • Executive Guidance: Provide counsel to senior leadership on HR-related issues, including compensation and benefits, employee relations, and talent management.
  • Policy and Compliance: Develop and manage HR policies and programs that ensure legal compliance while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the HR team, ensuring continuous improvement and effective performance management.
  • Employee Well-being: Oversee the implementation of employee wellness programs and work-life balance initiatives.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze and present HR data to senior leadership, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chief HR Officer (CHRO), Senior Vice President of HR, or in a similar executive HR leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and DEI strategies.
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and transformation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to remain detail-oriented and operationally focused.
  • Expertise in data-driven decision-making and HR analytics.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and other HR-related technologies.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • A Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, with at least 5 years in an executive position.
  • Extensive experience leading large-scale HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, employee development, and organizational development.
  • Broad experience in leading diversity and inclusion initiatives within a global organization.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growth-oriented environment is highly desirable.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position.
  • Standard working hours with flexibility for occasional extended hours based on business needs.
  • Hybrid work environment with both remote and in-office expectations.
