As a Remote Translator, you will be responsible for translating written materials across diverse industries and subjects. Translate a wide range of documents, including marketing materials, contracts, technical manuals, medical records, and educational resources.
Ensure the translated material maintains the original meaning, style, and context.
Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality translations.
Edit and proofread your translations to ensure accuracy and fluency.
Research specialized terminology to ensure correct usage.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as needed.
Handle sensitive documents with confidentiality and professionalism.
Manage multiple translation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in at least two languages (written and spoken), with native or near-native fluency in the target language.
Strong knowledge of grammar, syntax, and cultural nuances in both source and target languages.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Familiarity with translation software (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, or other CAT tools) is a plus.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
Ability to work efficiently and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
At least 1-2 years of professional translation experience.
Experience translating specialized content, such as legal, technical, medical, or financial documents, is preferred but not mandatory.
Proven track record of delivering accurate and timely translations.
